Our Story:
We started Balqees with one dream: to bring Yemen's rich flavors and warm spirit to Memphis. Growing up in the lively streets of Ibb, the aromas of slow-cooked meats, spices, and freshly baked bread were always a part of us. Cooking was how our families gathered, celebrated, and showed love. We knew we wanted to share this warmth and tradition when we moved to Memphis.
